Aladdin is one of my favourite Disney movies (which i'm waiting eagerly to show Mariana when she gets a bit older).

This post from mental_floss lists 15 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Aladdin. 
I always knew the Peddler was voiced by Robin Williams too, but nobody believed me. :P

Also, there were other choices in case Robin didn't accept the role of the Genie, which i'm so glad he did, because, probably the movie wouldn't be on my top list.

Hooray! Another set of My Little Pony figures will soon be available!

Take a look at these lovely chibi vinyl figures, they are absolutely adorable!

They are Discord, Chrysalis, Pinkie Pie, DJ Pon-3, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Flutterbat and Derpy and will be sold individually or in a set. Discord is only available if you buy the whole set, though.

So we got these two movies: Frozen and Cars

A few months ago we got these two in a promotion 2x1.

Cars has been an incredible disappointment... neither me nor Mariana watched it beyond the first two times (and that was because it was on automatic loop). It's just a boring movie... and Lightning McQueen wasn't at all what i expected, even if he changed in the end.

On the other hand, Frozen has been a huge hit! We must have watched it over 20 times, in english, portuguese and even a couple of times in spanish, just for fun. I especially liked it when about only 10-15 minutes had passed and already was i shedding a tear (many, in fact...).

The songs are amazing, the voicing (in english) is really good and i especially liked "Love is an Open Door". Why did you have to do it, Hans? You and Anna worked so well... :(

Sailor Moon oldies

I went to my mother's house today... and everytime i go to my old bedroom, i enjoy watching some of my toys still on the shelves (most of them are tucked away in boxes). When i was younger i liked painting on wood, fabric, ceramic... and today, watching some speed paintings and Trudie's Shopkins tutorials, made me want to try them again. :)

So, anyway, i'll just leave you with a few pictures i took from my old bedroom. Warning: VERY amateur work. :P

One of the paintings i did back in 1998 when Sailor Moon was all i could think of... (well, sort of). I smudged the signature, it sucked. :P

Some of the oldies Sailor Moon toys, Including a much beloved Moon Castle, the five sailors dolls (Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus), one of the small houses (that one belongs to Venus and is a karaoke house, if i remember correctly).

There's also a Sailor Moon carriage in the back, Prince Endymion and a sneaky Ma Beagle, from The Beagle Boys, that i have no idea how it got there. :D

Funko Pop! Vinyl

I must say, before starting Mariana's Youtube channel and this blog, i was a very, very casual toy appreciator. There were some oldies like Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball that i liked very much, and which i will show when i have a bit more time, since they're at my mother's house... :P but other than that...

When Game of Thrones' first Pop figures came out, it was the first time i heard of Funko Pop! (can you believe it?...) and a couple of days ago i visited their site only to find they have such a HUGE amount of figures from all kinds of series and movies!

So, right now, i'm very much enjoying to be more aware of what toys exist around the world (because most likely i won't be seeing most of them for sale here in Portugal... -_- )
